Have your camera ready for some great picture taking opportunities as you take a leisure walk along the rim and see how Mother Nature carved an image of the Great Thunderbird into the cliff of the Canyon before you enjoy your BBQ lunch.
A drive through the 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest, which surrounds much of this high desert country, is all part of this grand adventure. The West Rim surroundings are that of a desert landscape with limited modern upgrades. To ensure that you experience full value of the Grand Canyon splendor, we recommend that those requiring wheelchair assistance consider the South Rim Tour option.
