Mon - Sat | 8 hours: Air conditioned comfort aboard the "Desert Princess", topped off by a two hour visit to Hoover Dam, and a bonus stop at Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Gardens. Created when Hoover Dam was built to tame the Colorado River, Lake Mead is the largest man made lake in the United States. On board the 300 passenger Mississippi style Paddle Wheeler the "Desert Princess" your captain will point out the colorful Arizona Paint Pots, Fortification Hill and Boulder Island.

Make sure you get the great lakeside camera shot of Hoover Dam on your Lake Mead Cruise. Two hours at the Hoover Dam is included in this tour, along with the Bureau of Reclamation Power Plant Tour which includes a guided tour of the Dam's power plant, a movie on the Dam's construction, a museum and exhibit area.
